I am a serial debager, boot always I always de-badge. As stated above, it gives a cleaner look, and also make the car easier to keep shiny.

De-badged for me also. Looks nice and clean. Click to expand Happytalk73 said:. Love the look of that Dave.

Is it a d or d. Love the Xmas avatar too. Have never debaged in the past but the current car came like that and I think I may well continue to do so.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Ive always de-badged except with my current car. I'd de-badge a lesser car if I wanted to make it look like something it isn't, however, I'd never de-badge an AMG - just plain wrong devil: And lately, another complication has arisen, in the shape of the 43 range - lesser, some would say - but they have big brakes and quad exhausts, so even those "in the know" will wonder if your pride and joy is the semi skimmed variety My mate Dave is awaiting his epiphany - it's just been lost in the post at the mo.

Whenever I see a de-badged car that's the first thing I think of Markjames Active Member. Definitely de-badge but I've ordered both of my mercs like that from factory. Far to many badges across the back nowadays. Dryce MB Enthusiast.

To De-Badge or not to De-Badge. Thread starter Benz17 Start date May 7, Benz17 Active Senior Members. Hi guys, As you know my car had been hit from behind, and getting a a new boot lid, amongst other parts. My question is who in my position would leave the car de-badged.

Or who would have the badges on. A hard one, some do it if they have the little engine, and others do it to fool people into what they have. Two schools of thought He's debadged it hoping to pass it off for something it's not E 55 AMG. Your call, but I'd put them on if it were me.

So I will be putting the badges on. My thinking on others de-badging, hoping to pass it off for something its not Rappey69 Senior Member. Some people didnt put badges on new cars so that there is nothing for the scrotes to rip off with a screw driver. The petrolheads dieselheads will know it's not an AMG Shahid. Get those badges back on.

Rappey69 said:. Mic Senior Member. I have consciously not debadged my car because it is what it is, it came with the badge and for the most part I am not one for changing things. Nonetheless I could have specified debadged from new so it would not be ''wrong'' for the car to be debadged. My badge will stay BUT to my eye the boot lid is cleaner and smarter without badges so I fully understand either option Mic said:. Will do john Last edited: May 7, Had to debadge mine a couple weeks ago.
